9:30-10:00 am | Outdoor Learning and Play | Large and small motor skills, trikes, peer interaction, easel painting, play dough, sand and water play are all emphasized. |
10:00-10:15 am | Transition from Outdoor to Indoor | Teacher initiated learning in a group setting. |
10:15-10:45 am | Cognitive Learning Block | Phonics, math skills, language arts, letters, shapes and emphasis on small motor development and printing. |
10:45-11:15 am | Learning Centers | Children break up into 8 various learning centers around the classroom to grow and develop with hands-on learning. |
11:15-11:30 am | Clean Up and Transition for Lunch | Restrooms and hand washing |
11:30-11:40 am | Half-Day children are picked up | Half-day children are picked up prior to lunch while story circle is conducted. |
11:40-12:10 pm | Lunch and Outdoor Play yard | |
12:10-12:30 pm | Restrooms and Transition to Naptime | Children make their own beds and prepare for rest time. |
12:30-2:00 pm | Naptime and Rest/Quiet time | Children unable to sleep may play quietly at the tables or on their mats with puzzles or books. |

- “Movin’ & Groovin’” with rhythm, movement and music
- Creative Art Corner
- Learning Centers for block-building, dramatic play, etc.

5:00-5:45 pm | Language Arts Story Circle | Teacher initiated flannel board stories, puppets Big Book learning. Student portfolios are completed on each child each afternoon with the afternoon teacher. |
5:45-6:00 pm | Late Afternoon | Clean up and prepare to go home. |
