International students, grades 7-11 who are prepared to mainstream into regular classes, are welcome to apply for admission to Valley Christian Schools. This opportunity allows students to study and acquire an American education taught through a Biblical Worldview. Valley Christian High School offers college preparatory academics, including AP courses and a well-rounded approach to education including sports, arts and music. Valley Christian Schools issues I-20 status to students who meet all our general admissions requirements and who will be living with a Christian family during their stay. Valley Christian requires students to have attained the scores shown below and does not provide ESL classes.
What scores does Valley Christian require for TOEFL/SLEP/SSAT?
Our program does NOT include an ESL component so all international students are mainstreamed. International students applying to VCS are required to submit scores from either the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), the Secondary Level English Proficiency (SLEP) or the Secondary School Admissions Test (SSAT) test in addition to the other materials gathered in the admission process. Students with scores in the lower range can be successful, but their diligence and outgoing personalities are key factors of their success.

Standardized tests such as the TOEFL or SLEP are only a partial indicator of a student's English competence. As a part of the application process, students will be asked to write a critical essay.
