As I wrote my last tuition check to VCS last week it was a very bittersweet moment.  I was remembering all of the years that my boys spent at the elementary, middle school & high school, the daily commute from Buena Park to Cerritos and back (often more than once - especially during 2 a day football practice!), and overall the sense of thankfulness to God that my boys were able to attend such great schools and gain lifelong friendships.  Thank you all so much for providing a great education and foundation for my boys to pursue their callings & vocations in life, and for the great Christian role models that their teachers provided on a daily basis.   I always felt that the teachers cared for my sons and looked out for them - that is a great comfort to a mom!

I absolutely love this school! It's my first year attending on my junior year. At first I was really nervous, but there are great people here. I have great friends who really appreciate me and I love the teachers ~ They are awesome! I get along just fine with everyone. VCS has everything from education to events, clubs, and such things.  It's wonderful.

We love this school! The size of the student body is small, but the school still offers everything that you'd want in a high school (wonderful teachers, AP classes, sports, travel opportunities, Model UN, a slew of clubs, etc.). And, it's really well run. The buses (which serve the entire Valley Christian School system) are great for working parents. No complaints whatsoever.

I am a very happy parent of a high school graduate from VCHS. As a parent I highly recommend it. High spiritual values, parent teacher team work, wonderful church environment and friendly staff make the school a second home for our kids. Sports play a very important and successful role of the curriculum, community work is a must and it makes our kids responsible about citizenship. Thank God for this school, and for the teachers who put their effort to make the school always better. Their wonderful job makes it a great blessing for many families. Individual attention it is very helpful and appreciated. The Math program is very strong, English and Science make this school very distinguished. Education and moral start at home, VCHS does the rest. God Bless this school where your money is worth it every penny.

“In graduate school, my classmates who taught in public schools couldn’t understand why I would teach at a lower paying private school.  My answer – for the opportunity to challenge and inspire kids with my faith-walk and to likewise be inspired by them. It is an irreplaceable blessing to work with like-minded, highly committed faculty who share the same faith I hold, as well as witness the support of parents and community who commit their resources and time in partnership with us.”

“I love teaching science through the glasses of the Bible. God’s Word gives us perspective. Everything we study in Biology, Chemistry, or Anatomy is studying God through His creation. We study the same science as they do elsewhere, but I have the freedom to draw attention to the complexity and majesty and power of God, because He is the one who made what we are studying.”

I wanted to let you know what a blessing Valley Christian has been to our family. My daughter is in 7th grade, her second year at VCS and we are seeing such wonderful Christian fruit in her life. It is in a large part due to the teaching she receives in class. I’m so blessed she is getting the reinforcement of what we are teaching at home. Christ holds her to a higher standard than the world offers especially in this day and age.

“I believe my kids are being challenged both academically and spiritually. What we are pouring into them as parents is being reinforced daily in the classroom.”

My son has been attending his first year of preschool at VCS for only a short time, but we have seen such a dramatic difference...We thank God for the genuine love the entire staff is investing in our little ones.

We feel very blessed to have our child in a preschool where the name of Jesus is proclaimed and we know that the curriculum is set up to be a conduit to the Holy Spirit molding and shaping young hearts.  We used to be in a constant struggle and an uphill battle to get our preschool daughter to assimilate with peers her age. Now she has an open invitation to make new friends as joy and laughter follows.  Gone are the days when we took her to Sunday school/nursery at our church only to have her upset that mom and dad are leaving her behind.  I credit this milestone to Valley’s preschool…I believe that shaping and molding my daughter to have a heart for Jesus Christ at a young age is one of my biggest responsibilities as a parent right now.  Having my daughter on your campus further ordains this and what we’re trying to proclaim to her at home.  To God be the glory!

I've checked out many schools, and Valley Christian ranked highest of all 8 preschools I looked into.

We love the classroom facility and student ratios, not to mention the great bible and learning blocks.  The open courtyard, rubber tire playground and grass area is just perfect. The daily schedule and hours are very appropriate and accommodating.

The application paperwork, references, and church requirements were much higher than any other school; but I love it. It weeded out the less-serious, less-involved parents and made the reward higher when our child was accepted!

The continuity of Valley Christian Preschool to 12th grade was also very important to me. Most preschools only offered PreK or up to 6th or 8th grade.  I grew up changing schools every 2-3 years and had to learn to make new friendships often.  My friendships were never as deep or as strong as preschool or grade school friendships.

The staff and teachers at VCPS have also been genuinely friendly and loving.  I also love the idea of co-parenting your child with the school.  I have friends who teach at other schools who complain that parents rarely come to parent teacher conferences or seem involved in their child’s success.  We're so honored and blessed to have our son at VCPS with other kids whose parents have a similar mindset.

Additionally, the cost is very reasonable, and within the standard market rate.

God willing, we pray our kids can stay with Valley Christian Schools through 12th grade, have a lifetime love for Christ, make great friends, and get a great education in the process.
