Scholastic Arts Association promotes scholarship, leadership, character and service among Valley Christian High School students. SAS sponsors our National Honors activities, hosts the annual Scholastic Arts ceremony, and awards scholarships each year to our High School seniors. 

Scholastic Arts Society Scholarships

Download the SAS (Scholastic Arts Society) Application to be eligible for an SAS scholarship. This is a pdf document that you can complete online (if you chose) and then print out to submit to Mrs. Doornbos at the attendance/counseling assistant's desk by Thursday, May 2, 2013.

The following Scholarships will be awarded (students who don't fill out the application will not qualify):

PSAT Commended Scholar Award

• Any junior who qualifies as a National Merit Commended or Semi-Finalist

SAS National Honor Society Scholarships (applicant must be an NHS member in good standing to qualify for these awards)

• Overall Honor for Character
• Overall Honor for Leadership
• Overall Honor for  Service

SAS Academic Awards based on a combined score of Grade Point Average (GPA) and Standardized Aptitude Test SAT or ACT scores (applicants do not need to be an NHS member to be considered for these awards)

No late applications will be accepted!
