Valley Christian’s 2nd grade teacher Pam Leestma and VCS students were invited to participate in the NBC4 “Today in L.A.” morning show on Friday, May 11. It was recorded live from the Columbia Memorial Space Center in Downey from 4:30 to 7 am! View clips of the Valley Christian students in the broadcast (or watch below). Ms. Leestma serves on the Board of Directors and shared that field trips to the Columbia Center have “The Right Stuff!” She was joined by six “early bird” VC students and Warren High School’s Robotic Team for camera time and interviews with traffic reporter Sean Murphy.
