BOPA seeks to assist the directors in building student performance skills, developing music appreciation, and maintaining a high quality music department. BOPA organizes several fundraisers throughout the year to provide financial assistance to the music programs. Funds are used to purchase musical instruments, performance clothes, and equipment that is not covered in the school budget.

BOPA relies on parent support to fulfill its mission. Parents are encouraged to help organize and coordinate the events, provide staff for the events, and participate in the fundraisers. BOPA is open to anyone interested in the music program. Monthly BOPA meetings are held at the High School on the first Monday of the month at 7:30 pm.
