Kindergarten is the beginning of elementary school and is an important transition from either home or preschool. Families approach kindergarten differently and we support that by offering:

Full-day Kindergarten (8:15 - 2:45): an introduction to math, reading and writing, Bible, science, social studies and all of our specialty classes. Students enjoy three recesses, snack and lunch. Students must have had their 5th birthday by September 1.

Half-day Kindergarten (8:15 - 12): modified version of full day with reading, writing, and Bible, and a modified version of science and social studies. Students enjoy recess, snack time and lunch. Students must have had their 5th birthday by September 1.

Transitional Kindergarten: (available in either half-day or full day) Students must have had their 5th birthday by December 31. Because all children  mature at different rates, Valley Christian offers  Transitional  Kindergarten. This class affords a child the gift of an extra year to become ready for the rigors of Kindergarten.
