Parents, Grandparents, Youth Leaders and Mentors are invited to join us on September 26 from 6:30pm - 8pm in the VCHS gymnasium to hear from Protect Young Eyes,   a Christian-based organization specializing in internet safety for kids. These conversations are critical for any adults that have an impact on your children from preschool all the way to high school. The PYE presenter will discuss building digital trust within your family, creating safe digital spaces, and provide tips for developing sound habits. We believe this conversation is so important that we are offering 2 service hours for each parent of current VC students that attend (maximum of 4 hours per family). We know you’ll leave feeling encouraged and empowered. In order for us to best prepare for the event, please RSVP here.

Protect Young Eyes will visit each of our campuses Tuesday, 9/27 to speak with our students in age-appropriate, grade level groups about the importance of digital safety. To learn more about their presentation, check out their school presentations at www.protectyoungeyes.com

    • If you drop a class by the end of Week 7 (9/30), then there is no permanent record anywhere.
    • If you drop a class by the end of Week 13, then there is a W on your permanent transcript, but it doesn't hurt your GPA.
    • If you drop a class after Week 13, then you get an automatic F on your permanent transcript, and it will pull your GPA down.
