2017-2018 Theme Verse: "Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong. Do everything in love." 1 Corinthians 16:13 - 14

Welcome to the 2017-2018 school year! August 14 feels early to be starting school, especially at Valley Christian, but even if the start of school has come quickly, our faculty and staff are ready and excited for the 2017-18 school to begin. We hope you are as well. Collectively, we at VCS count it a privilege to serve your students and you -- our families. We’re delighted you’re here and know this will be a great school year.
I Corinthians 16:13-14 has been selected as our theme for the year: Be on your guard; stand firm in your faith; be courageous; be strong. Do everything in love. This passage is central to our mission - to equip and inspire young people to make a difference in the world for Jesus Christ. We want our students to be prepared to stand for their faith, and to act courageously as they journey with God through school and into adult life. Moreover, we want to encourage them to do so in the love of Jesus Christ.
We pray the faith of our students will be enriched throughout this school year. We pray our students will learn to act courageously and stand firmly in their faith. And we pray that the love of Jesus will permeate all of our lives as we move as God directs.
    Ron Taylor,
