Valley Christian Schools strives for excellence in Christian education by partnering with Christian parents in meeting each individual students needs.

The school was founded in 1935 on the concept of parents involvement. Valley Christian Schools is dedicated to bringing every student to his or her highest potential: academically, socially, and spiritually. Valley Christian Schools has over 1,300 students in preschool through 12th grade and more than 98% of our high school graduates go on to further education directly following graduation.

At Valley Christian Schools, we’re clear academic excellence is an extension of one's wonder and curiosity about the Creator and his creation. In fact, we might argue creation is the only curricula a learner has.

For example, veteran math teacher Laura Pheifer has prepared her AP Calculus students so well that from 2010-2014, 90% of her students passed the test, while the national average was 59% or lower. In fact, in seven of the last 15 years 100% of her students passed the exam.

Also, students attend weekly Chapel. During this time, there is a chance for students and faculty to worship together through song and Biblical teaching.

Throughout the school year, students participate in Jazz Band, Handbell and Orchestra Concerts throughout the year for the community. This year’s performance highlights are Disneyland and ABC7 Spark of Love.

At VCES, K - 4th students are taught music by the Macmillan/McGraw-Hill curriculum Spotlight on Music. 5th & 6th grade students have a chance to be in band, orchestra and choir.

At VCMS, students are able to choose from a wide variety of classes to expand their knowledge in certain specialities. Calligraphy, Ceramics, Guitar, Interior Design, iPad Art, Photography, Print Making and Video Production are only naming a few course options.

At VCHS, students are well on their way as they perform in musical, two-dimension and three-dimension arts. VCHS arts provide the opportunity for students to hone skills, develop repertoire and facility, and to explore new things. A couple of these opportunities are Graphic Arts, Painting, Photoshop Design, Crusader Band and Women’s Ensemble.

Also, TK - 12th grade students have the opportunity to be in a production called Broadway Showcase. In this annual show, students are able to use their talents of dance, singing and stage production for the local community.

VCS offers a wide variety of athletics for students to join. The sports vary by seasons, Fall, Winter and Spring. During fall, the sports include Cheer, Football, Golf, Tennis, and Volleyball. Winter sports include Basketball and Soccer. Baseball, Softball, Track, Swimming, Gymnastics and Softball are offered during the Spring.

Altogether, VC has been awarded three state championships, five regional championships, 32 CIF Championships, 27 CIF players of the year, 168 Athletic Scholarships and 11 Professional Athletes.
