Valley Christian Schools is nurturing our nation’s next generation of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics leaders. Using advanced curriculum and deliberate hands-on project-based learning initiatives such as robotics, CAD, certification, 3D printing, IT server management, web design, computer animation, rocketry, and others, we equip students with demonstrable skills that enable them to succeed in STEM careers.
To that end, VCS has established robust competitive robotics programs that serve students from elementary through high school. Competitive robotics is unique: objectives are difficult and hands-on; tasks require students to leverage STEM skills in a fast-paced environment; communication, listening and collaboration are critical for success; it offers regional and national competition and recognition; and it connects students with over $15 million in scholarships from top colleges and universities. The competitive robotics construct closely mimics the dynamics and processes employed in America’s top engineering and technology companies.
We are investing in faculty, facilities and resources that students need to explore, master and lead in these fields. STEM professionals from the VCS community are volunteering their expertise as mentors and coaches creating a strong, practical foundation for our students.
We seek to include you and your students in our flourishing robotics programs.
“We want to transform our culture by creating a world where science and technology are celebrated and where young people dream of becoming science and technology leaders.”
