Clubs & Extra Curricular Activities
Valley Christian offers a wide range of activities outside of the classroom that give students opportunities to exercise their abilities and interests.
Valley Christian Athletics have a tradition of excellence in many sports. We wish to emphasize that while we enjoy winning, it is much more important that the name of Jesus Christ is honored in the manner of our playing and cheering.
National Honor Society
The National Honor Society was formed in 1921 as a "national organization whose objectives were to create an enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote worthy leadership, and to encourage the development of character in the nation's secondary school students." Valley Christian High School has an NHS chapter that is dedicated to these same goals.
For more information regarding selection to NHS, please contact the Counseling Office or refer to the High School Student page in Canvas.
Student Council is made up of elected representatives from the student body who meet each Tuesday before school to enhance student life on campus, be aware of student concerns, and discuss and suggest solutions to student problems and concerns. It is an excellent activity in which to develop leadership and citizenship skills. Elections are held in the spring.
Many student-led clubs will be offered but may change from year to year. Please check for more options posted outside Student Activities Office. A list of clubs is also available in the Student Handbook. Student Handbook
