Spiritual Growth

  • We provide many opportunities to arouse and develop spiritual growth in students.

    Weekly Chapel

    • Each week on Wednesday mornings we meet as a student body with student led worship followed by an engaging speaker (area youth pastors, Christian leaders, pro athletes, musicians, alumni and faculty members).

    Bible Studies

    • Student Council organizes a student-led Bible study on Monday nights at student homes
      Optional guys and girls Bible studies, led by faculty members, are held each week during lunch on Wednesday

    Special Events:

    • "Prayer Breakfasts" invite parents, local pastors, alumni, students and faculty to meet before school to pray for God's continued blessing as we carry out our school mission.

    Service:

    Through our dynamic service program, students have a ton of opportunities to select from which will serve their community ANY challenge them to grow spiritually:

    • Visits to Grace Christian Orphanage in Tijuana, Long Beach Rescue Mission, Bell Shelter, LA Skid Row, area Retirement Centers like Artesia Christian Home, etc.
    • Attend the annual Special Games for children with disabilities at Cal State Fullerton, providing friend escorts to the children, and running the activities and games
    • Short-term mission trips to Costa Rica and other countries are led by faculty members and are open to students.
