Elementary School
Valley Christian Elementary is a WASC accredited elementary school founded in 1935. We serve students from Transitional Kindergarten through 6th grade. Our beautiful elementary campus is filled with curious students and a caring, Christ-centered faculty and staff. We are set up to have three classrooms at each grade level with an average of 22 students in each class. We strive for excellence in Christian education by partnering with parents in equipping and inspiring each individual student. Our goal is to encourage our students to grow academically, socially, and spiritually throughout their time at Valley Christian.
Transitional Kindergarten Students
Valley Christian offers Transitional Kindergarten for students who turn 5 by December 30. This class allows our youngest students the opportunity to grow in their academic and social skills while being immersed in the day to day activities of an elementary campus.
Kindergarten - Sixth Grade Students
Valley Christian Elementary School requires children to be 5 years old by September 1 of their Kindergarten year. Placement is determined based on various factors including the Gesell Readiness Assessment, standardized testing, and/or academic testing in math and language.
At the elementary school, students are challenged with curriculum in English, Science, Math, Social Studies, and Bible. Our students participate in a variety of hands-on learning through classroom projects, grade-level activities, and STEM lessons. Each week, all of our students also enjoy specialty classes including Art, Chapel, Library, Music, and Physical Education. Our educational program encourages all students to try new things and become well rounded individuals.
