Students and parents should be aware that the University of California and the Cal State systems have admission requirements that exceed the minimum graduation requirements for Valley Christian.  Such schools also do not recognize a grade of D or lower in the A-G requirements.  Therefore, Valley Christian High School requires students who want to gain entrance to a UC, CSU or most other four year institutions must earn a grade of C- or higher in the A-G requirements and should plan to take classes above and beyond the minimum requirements.  Although some courses can be validated, students and parents should contact their college of choice for specific information about validation.  Please visit www.ucop.edu/doorways/guide, click on A-G requirements, and go to the subject in question. Students applying to private or out of state schools should contact an admissions representative for specific information about each respective school.
