iPad Program Details (7th-12th Grade)

Cost & Purchase Information for iPads at Valley Christian Schools (VCS)

Purchasing Through VCS:

  • Benefits:
    • Eligible for 2-4 years of AppleCare Plus at a reduced cost.
    • Waived $50 deductible on accidental damage claims if bundled with a case.
    • VCS handles all repairs or replacements with AppleCare+ warranty.

Purchasing from Retail Stores:

  • Considerations:
    • $25 setup fee for personal iPads; must be brought to VCS for setup.
    • No repair or replacement services unless AppleCare+ warranty was bought at purchase.

Using an Existing iPad:

  • Requirements:
    • Must run latest iPad OS (currently 18) and have at least 64GB storage.
    • $25 setup fee applies.
    • Bring to VCS by July 30 for setup; data backup and iCloud sign-out required beforehand.
    • No repair services from VCS without AppleCare+.

Financing:

No payment plans available; full payment required at order via check or credit card.

Accessories:

  • Case: Recommended but not mandatory; ensure good corner and display protection.
  • Keyboard/Apple Pencil: Optional, but Apple Pencil encouraged. Apple accessories covered by AppleCare+ only if bought with the iPad.
     

Upgrading During the School Year:

You can purchase a new model; complete the iPad order form at www.vcschools.org/ipadorder. Contact the tech team for content transfer considerations. $25 setup fee applies if not bought through VCS.
