Spiritual Formation

At Valley Christian Schools, student faith development remains central to who we are. We desire to encourage, grow, and develop each student's faith during his/her time at VCS. Our mission is to “Equip and Inspire"our students for a life of service to Jesus Christ through chapels, devotions, spiritual retreats, and Bible studies on each campus. We believe faith and learning go hand-in-hand in the classroom, in the fine arts, and on the playing fields/courts. Our teachers and staff are committed followers of Jesus Christ who seek to impact the faith journey of each student under their care. They are committed to excellence, both spiritually and academically.

Students are required to take one-quarter of Bible each semester at VCMS. Our staff created the curriculum specifically tailored to seventh and eighth graders. Each week, we worship together in Chapel. The chapels are led by a team of eighth-grade students and directed by the chapel teacher. There are also faith-based exploratory classes and faculty-led Bible studies.
