Mind the Void is this week - October 20-24! Mind the Void is a focus week for students to ask themselves–are they trying to fill a void in their lives, or soothe themselves, with anything other than Christ? We do this instead of just having a drug-focused Red Ribbon week. We want to bring awareness to ANYTHING that can be damaging to our lives. The theme verse for Mind the Void is Romans 12:2, Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. This week, we will encourage our students to consider if they have any danger areas in their lives, even if they aren’t at the level of addiction. We will give them the opportunity to fast for a week from that habit, and provide resources through our teachers and counselors to help. Please pray for your students and our staff!
