Need Service Hours? Earn hours at home by washing VCMS graduation robes. Email the middle school if you are interested at vcmsoffice@vcschools.org.

Riding the bus as a guest? If your student will be riding the bus home with a friend as a guest, parents must email the middle school at vcmsoffice@vcschools.org and request a bus pass (please note the bus number and the student they are going home with). They will not be able to ride the bus without a pass!

Our first Late-Start Day will be this Wednesday, September 2. Here are a few details to help you plan:

  • School will begin at 9:00 AM.
  • The school day will still end at 2:45 PM.
  • Buses will run their regular AM routes. Pick-up times remain the same.
  • Please help us and drop your child off at school 45 minutes later than usual.
  • Middle School: The library and outside lunch area will be open for those who still need the normal 8:00 AM drop-off time.

VCHS First Home Football Game: We are excited for the first home football game on Friday, September 4, at 7 PM. Home football games are great community events, and we encourage you to attend. With that in mind, we want to remind you that while security will be present at the game, faculty and staff will not be providing direct supervision of students. As middle school students become more independent and are given more freedom at football games, this can sometimes lead to poor choices. Please help by providing supervision and reminding them to behave appropriately while having fun at the game. Thank you.

2026-27 Theme Verse: "But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream.  It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit." Jeremiah 17:7-8

Welcome to the 2026-27 school year!

We are excited to begin our 92nd year of equipping and inspiring students at Valley Christian Schools. This year’s theme verse comes from Jeremiah 17:7-8:

“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.”

In the weeks ahead, we will memorize this verse and explore together what it means to live with full trust in the Lord — being planted with purpose. Our prayer is that these words will take root deeply in the hearts and minds of our students on every campus, guiding our students to live with confidence in God.

If you haven't yet had a chance to join us for Project 744, our unbroken chain of prayer covering all 744 hours in the month of August, please visit this link and choose an hour.

We are grateful for each of you and look forward to all that God will do in and through our students and families in the year ahead.

Partnering with you in Christ,

Mike Siebersma, VCS Superintendent
